City Boys Up: Leonardo DiCaprio Apparently Asked A Playboy Model At A Club To Come Home With Him, And When She Said No, He Took The Girl Next To Her Instead
Playboy model Hieke Konings was unimpressed by Leonardo DiCaprio’s kissing skills.
The glamour girl, 22, claimed to have once locked lips with the “Killers of the Flower Moon” star, 49, at a nightclub in a new interview with the Dutch edition of the iconic men’s magazine.
“It was in a secret club in LA, one of those clubs where you can only get in by invitation,” she said in the March 2024 issue, according to a press release obtained by Page Six. “I saw him sitting there in his black hoodie and black cap, and we made eye contact.”
Konings alleged DiCaprio’s manager approached her “less than a minute later” and told her that the actor wanted to talk to her.
“We kissed for a while, and then he asked me to come home with him,” she claimed. “I said no. He reacted very shocked. Of course he wasn’t used to it. When I said I didn’t know him well enough, he responded sweetly, ‘I respect that.’ Whereupon he turned to another girl and took her home!”
However, a source tells Page Six exclusively that the interaction never happened.
“This story is an amalgamation of other false stories,” the source insists, adding that Konings’ anecdote is “clearly an approach for clicks [and] publicity.”
CIIITTTYYY BOOOYSSSS!!!
Listen, this is maybe the least surprising Leo story of all time. He's the leader of the city boys. A generational actor and on his days off spends time with a bunch of super models that regular lads like you and I would only ever dream of even speaking to. We've written about his relationships extensively on this sports blog:
I know he gets a lot of criticism on social media for his dating habits, but this story is objectively funny. The game is the game. What did you want him to do in that situation? Go home empty handed? He took another shot, albeit to the woman next to her, and it went in. He just happened to be doing it with absolute 10's. There's a lesson to be taught somewhere there about perseverance.
Before I go any further, here's this Playboy model in question because I'm quickly losing your attention span:
Now that you're back, is it totally possible that miss Konings exaggerated this story for the "clicks and publicity" like Leo is alleging? Maybe, but it was refreshing in a world of OnlyFans links in the bio to not be redirected at every single opportunity. Calling him old and weird after being the one to initiate the flirting and kissing session with one of the greatest actors of all-time was a bit of a stretch though. And even if it did happen, this encounter is a giant nothingburger at the end of the day. She said he was respectful after being rejected, something a lot of men have issues with, and wasted no time getting to the next bucket. "I respect that" and then taking the girl next to her instead is so damn funny no matter what way you put it. The Leo playbook is undefeated.
